My wellness journey
Hi! My name is Tamika McIndoe, and I am a qualified nutritionist, yoga instructor, and circle facilitator based in the Northern Rivers.
I started my wellness journey as a personal trainer and fitness instructor which I really enjoyed. However, something was missing my soul was craving more. I kept coming back to yoga after years of practicing on and off at home. I finished my 500hrs with Byron Yoga Center in late 2009 and have been teaching community and children's classes since.
My adventure into holistic nutrition came next, I desired to learn more about the whole self, mind, body, and spirit. With the help of this incredible degree, I've been able to delve into the causes of dis-ease and disharmony that exist in the mind, body, and spirit and ways to help bring things back into harmony.
Facilitating circles complement my wellness journey by providing a nurturing space, surrounded by individuals on their own journey, learning and growing together.
Through my teachings of these traditional modalities, I have the incredible opportunity of assisting others in empowering themselves to live their best lives!

Sakura Light
Sakura means cherry blossom. Many cultures hold a spiritual connection with these divine blossoms. In Japanese culture, they represent renewal and rebirth, whilst in Chinese culture they symbolize strength and power. It also symbolizes femininity; the essence of womanhood is embodied in the flow of the petals.
Light in healing helps to resolve emotional, mental, spiritual, and physical issues. This is known as "Healing Light." The healing techniques take into account the fact that everything is encircled by light or energy. Each of us possesses this energy, which can be used to heal us.
Sakura Light represents a healing energy that embodies both feminine and masculine power and strength. Through growth and rebirth may we journey towards balance within the mind, body, and soul.
